While we are still waiting for our Galaxy Tablet to arrive from Verizon, Droid-Life has been covering it all day and has since made a video showing off some of Android’s most popular games including Fruit Ninja, Reckless Racing, Angry Birds and Flick Kick Football. Somewhere in the wonderful game that is Pocket Legends there is a little green robot just waiting to be found. Should you find this little green robot, wave hello to him and he will reward you for your kindness! To celebrate the release of Pocket Legends on Android, developers Spacetime Studios will be holding a scavenger hunt each day this week.
So right now Eric Schmidt is talking at the Web 2.0 Summit and while most of us had dismissed the idea of anything really Android related being mentioned, we all tuned in anyways just in case. Well we were not disappointed at all! Google CEO, Eric Schmidt, announced a little bit of information about Gingerbread while waving around a new phone!
Box Fox (a.k.a Box Fox Lite) is a platform game in the alpha stages of development and although it is in the alpha status, you can download and test it out. Developed by Corroding Games, Box Fox is a platform game with a heavy focus on puzzles which you solve by moving objects, stacking boxes and things of that nature while you collect all the gems on each stage.
TibiaME is a cool retro style mmorpg game that is based off the PC version, Tibia. While digging around for whether or not there is a version to play on your Android phone, we found that while there is nothing official yet, you can play the game using a J2ME Runner which allows you to play full java games on your Android phone.
A few days back we posted about a game we found and tried out called SheepRun which seems to be a mix of physics and Lemmings style gameplay. Aside from the fact it was a pretty interested game (still in beta) the main thing that caught our eye was the user interface which looked ridiculously like Angry Birds’ user interface, so we shot off an email to Rovio.
