Brothers in Arms 2: Global Front HD coming to Android?

Seems like Gameloft has a few games slated for release for Android in the near future. The other day we spotted the Let’s Golf 2 page on the Gameloft store site before it was taken offline. Now we got a tip about Brothers in Arms 2: Global Front HD appearing for availability for Android devices although now we’re having trouble getting to the page.

Brothers in Arms 2: Global Front HD is an FPS game similar to Modern Combat: Sandstorm and is set during WWII. As with most Gameloft games, all the graphics are highly detailed 3D renders and all the controls are touch screen.

Features:

  • 5 locations and 13 levels
  • Multiplayer: challenge up to 5 friends to multiplayer battles on a variety of five maps in 3 different modes (Free For All, Team Deathmatch, Domination). Connect locally via Bluetooth or online through WiFi.
  • Take controls on vehicles: tank, off-road vehicle or glider
  • Tons of weapons to use
  • Awesome 3D graphics
  • Touch screen controls

As with Let’s Golf 2, which is now available for purchase, when the official page for it disappeared, it wasn’t long before it was made publicly available for purchase (a couple of days). If this pattern holds true as it also did with Avatar HD, then we should see Brother In Arms 2: Global Front HD available for purchase on Android devices any day now.

Pricing should remain within the standard range of $4.99 as with most of their games for Android. As with all of Gameloft’s Android games, this will only be available for purchase through the Gameloft Store.

Thanks to Mariano Zorrilla for the tip!
