Word game fanatics out there have a new word game to try out that just arrived today called Word Ball. While there seems to be a lot of games lately pertaining to balls, don’t let this one fool you as it can get pretty tricky to spell words while the letters are bouncing around.
Glu Mobile has quietly release another game onto the Android Market called Star Blitz. Anyone who has played Gun Bros. will see a lot of familiar mechanics from that game in Star Blitz. In fact it is essentially Gun Bros with space ships for the most part.
This topic has been around since before the Xperia Play got release and while Sony Ericsson had the right idea with making an actual gaming focused device for Android gamers, there are some items that could have been improved upon. This isn’t a knock at the Xperia Play though which is a fun, solid device.
OpenFeint has been quite successful on Android and already boasts over 700 games under belt that run some sort of OpenFeint features in their games. Today though OpenFeint is announcing that it has already begun rolling out a new update which brings a whole new level to their social gaming features.
INC is a great little retro platformer being developer by our friends over at OrangePixel. Along with some new gameplay footage from their developer diary, OrangePixel has released some new information about INC and some of the new features that have been put into the game.
ngmoco and AT&T have teamed up to bring their huge social gaming network, Mobage, to Android users in the US. AT&T customers will have access to this huge social gaming network which is now even better funded since DeNA purchased ngmoco last year for $400 million.
Trendy Entertainment’s casual game studio spin-off, Puppy Punch Production, have launched their first game onto the Android platform called A Game With Balls. This is the launch day for it which means that unless you have access to the Amazon App Store, you’ll have to wait till the exclusive period is over.
G5 Entertainment has released a new game onto the Android Market today called Paranormal Agency. This is a neat hidden object game where you use your supernatural ESP abilities to rid the city of all the malevolent spooks and spirits in your city.
Jimmy Pataya has been a fairly popular iOS game for awhile now and the developers, Paladin Studios, have ported it over to Android for us to enjoy as well. The game is essentially an endless game where you parachute out of a plane and try to dodge rotating blades on the way down.
