A new physics-based puzzle game has landed on the Android Market today from developers Red Piston called Banzai Blowfish. Combining the platform gaming genre with Angry Birds mechanics, Banzai Blowfish is sort of like Sprinkle but you’re shooting your samurai blowfish around.

Naoplay has announced their upcoming game which will be released on both Android and iOS called MetroJoust. This new game will be jousting like the medieval times except it will be in modern day, on moving vehicles like motorcycles and scooters.
We’ve had an idea this was coming to Android soon and now EA has finally gone ahead and released The Game of Life onto the Android Market. The classic board game has been brought to Android in a 3D environment and features everything you would expect from the actual board game.
At some point in your life you have probably played Asteroids or a game that is based off of the arcade classic. People have been asking us to check a game called Asteroid 2012 3D and so we finally have. What can we say? It’s a well done remake of the classic wrapped in some pretty nice 3D visuals.
So today is a big day for Minecraft in all of it’s forms but mostly regarding console and PC as the first MineCon ever is slated to kick off today in a couple of hours. Aside from the official release of Minecraft minus the Beta tag is slated for today, there is going to be plenty of other Minecraft news as well.
Gameloft has announced that they are giving a few titles away today for free but there is a catch. To get the free games you have to be an owner of an Acer Icnoia A500 or A501 tablet. For those of you who don’t know about these tablets, it’s a Tegra dual-core Honeycomb tablet from Acer who is also gearing up to release the rumored A700 and A701 Tegra 3 tablets early next year.
It was only a couple of days ago where we reported on some leaked images for the upcoming final Angry Birds Rio update that will be called Smuggler’s Plane. Today we find another uncharacteristic leak by Rovio but this time for Angry Birds Seasons and the upcoming Winter update called “Wreck The Halls”.
Sports must really be in the air today as our third article this morning is about yet another sport, or one of the stars in it actually. Manny Pacquiao is slated to have his game that just landed on iOS, called Pound For Pound, to also arrive on Android soon. In this game you play a Mr. Manny who is the martial arts hero of the game.
For those of you who are fans of Soccer (or football depending on wear you’re from) and also happen to be fans of ex-Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, you will be happy to know that there will be a mobile game coming to Android based on him. This will be a blend of different genres including management, turn-based RPG, action and sports gaming.
Full Fat Games is continuing their push onto the Android platform with their “Flick” titles with the release of a new game called NFL Flick Quarterback. As the name suggests, you’ll be able to play as the Quarterback for your favorite NFL team.
