Back in September during the Tokyo Game Show, HyperDevBox announced that they had a new tactical-RPG title under development that would be coming to Android called Generation of Chaos. Since then it’s been quiet on the development of this new title until now as it has just landed on the Android Market.

You may or may not have caught our article about how to play Shadowgun on an Asus Transformer while using an Android phone as a gamepad to play it. One of the items needed to accomplish this was a program called DroidMote which has a server and client app you need to install.
The is a new game out from Dancing Cat Developments called Star Armada which is an RTS (Real-time strategy) game in space where your fleet of ships will be battling it out with the enemy’s fleets. As with any real RTS type of game you’ll be needing resources, bases established and more.
While Android has spread like wildfire through the world, there are still some places who either don’t have access to certain categories on the market, or paid apps and games. Korea was one of those unfortunate places that didn’t have games available to them, only apps.
For those of you unaware of what Orcs Must Die! is, it’s a game similar to Dungeon Defenders except you’ll be placing a variety of traps and other painful things, and sometimes even support troops like archers, to kill waves of monsters, mostly pissed off Orcs and similar creatures. Trap Hunter TD bring this type of game to Android.
Futuremark Corporation and their 3DMark services have been a standard in the PC gaming field for quite some time, since back in 1998 to be exact. Since then their benchmarking services have been an industry standard when it comes to measuring PC gaming hardware performance. Now the company plans to bring these services to Android tablets.
Well this is a bit of a surprise and should make a lot of parents happy, that is if you let your young ones actually play with your Android devices if they don’t have one of their own. Mediocre, the developers of Sprinkle which is the rather excellent water-based physics puzzler is coming out with a more child friendly version called Sprinkle Junior.
I’m just as much of a fan of gaming as the readers that come here. However, our phones are more than just awesome gaming on-the-go devices. We use these mobile devices for texting, keeping track of our calendar, listening to music, and, yes, occasionally making a phone call. I tend to keep a max of 2-3 screens, and I like to keep my screens pretty uncluttered for the most part.
A few people have asked me when we were going to announce the winners regarding the Zeemote giveaway we just had in partnership with DotEmu. We said we would announce who the winners are but then came to our senses as it was on a first come first serve basis.
