If you don’t have enough top-down scrolling shooters to play then there is a new one you might want to try out from Tubi Games called Star Commander. This isn’t a bullet hell type of shooter but it isn’t just a simple easy shooter to blaze through either.

There is a new aerial dogfighting game that has swooped down onto Android called Infinite Sky by Anton Soeharyo. Wrapped in some nice 3D visual, this game has you choosing one of five available aircraft which you will than take to the sky in with the hopes of fending off the onslaught of enemies who happen to be on their way.
Not sure how many people used to do this when they were young but a lot of us used to draw this little puzzle where you have to draw a house, with a roof and an X through the square portion of the house with one line and no tracing over existing lines you’ve drawn. Well now there is a full puzzle game based on this concept called Constellaris.
Dipping way way back into the past you might remember us talking about Vivid Games and their upcoming Speedball 2: Evolution title from back in October 2010. Well after almost a year and a half of waiting for the damn game to arrive, it has finally launched onto the Google Play store.
Today seems to be retro gaming day, at least for this morning anyways. OrangePixel, retro game devs extraordinaire, have released a trailer for their upcoming game called Chrono&Cash which is slated for release onto the Google Play store later this week.
Rockstar Games has just tweeted from their account that the mobile version of Max Payne for Android is indeed coming this month which we previously mentioned last week. However, they have gone so far to announce an official release date for the game this time.
Continuing on with some more retro gaming news, the Atari 2600 game Busy Police has been remade by a developer named Martin Edmaier (a.k.a Retro Game Studio) and is officially called Crazy Police. Originally developed by Zellers and released back in 1983, Busy Police, now known as Crazy Police, has you controlling a police officer doing what they do best, catching criminals.
When it comes to gaming peripherals available for mobile gaming there is no shortage of them available. Everything from the compact Zeemote to the new Nyko gamepades or even the entire gaming system set-up called MOGA. Now we can add bluetooth enabled dice to the list.
We have been watching and reporting on all the rumors about the Nexus tablet Google has been wanting to release. One rumor is that Asus would be the manufacturer that would be making the device, something that makes a lot of sense. Well it is now confirmed that Asus is indeed making the Nexus tablet.
From the maker of DoomGLES comes Heretic GLES. Originally Heretic was created by Raven Software and eventually published by id Software back in 1994, this game was recently made available once again on Steam in 2007. Now it is 2012 and Kokak has brought his porting skills to the table once more to bring Heretic GLES to Android.
