Developers at Bulkypix, along with Android newcomer Appxplore, have just released a one of a kind game on Google Play. “Lightopus” puts you in the boots of the only survivor of all the Lightopus species, and as such you must rescue the remaining young Lightopuses, which happen to be trapped in the not so friendly Abyss.

Between yesterday and today there have been four more Tegra-based games unveiled that will be heading our way soon including a surprising sequel to the rather crazy arcade mech shooter from HyperDevBox called ExZeus. Apparently they have decided to make a sequel, this time for Tegra-based devices called ExZeus II THD.
Coming hot off the Google I/O 2012 Day 1 Keynote event, there was a lot of information that came out of this press event. One large chunk of information which everyone should know about happens to be regarding the Google Play store which just had it’s web version updated.
Yesterday we saw an article about a new continuous running game being developed by Goroid Games called The End. Watching the preview trailer for this particular game revealed what is probably the most gorgeous looking running games we have seen so far for mobile devices.
Last time we check out with Origin8 Technologies, they surprised us with their really nice games Space Station: Frontier and Sentinel 3: Homeworld, set in a space environments where you had the always nice tower defender role. Well, now they’ve changed the topic just a little bit by releasing they’re new puzzle game Tractor Trails, which will surely hook fans of casual-puzzle games.
Another Tegra-based game has arrived onto Android that we have also talked about recently called Heroes Call THD. Developed by Defiant Development, this games is an action RPG that focuses a lot on dungeon crawling, not to dissimilar to Diablo III type of games.
We have been reporting on a new physics-based puzzle game for the past couple of weeks called Puddle THD. Developed by Neko Entertainment, Puddle THD is a pretty interesting type of game where things like the type of surface your water is on and even the temperature of said surface play a role in how well you do in each stage.
Yesterday we reported that Phosphor Games, developers of the rather creepy Dark Meadows game for Tegra-based devices, have released a bit of a trailer / video interview regarding their upcoming game for Android called Horn. This game was further confirmed for Android during the Google I/O 2012 Day 1 Keynote event going on this morning.
Well that certainly didn’t take long with the insane amount of people trying to find every little tidbit of information regarding the two new products that are going to be announced right now during the Google I/O 2012 Day 1 Keynote session (which you can watch live here), those two items being the Nexus Tablet and Nexus Q.
