Sometime March last year, Google began allowing Android application developers to charge money for additional content and services from within their apps. This is possible for both paid and free apps. Now, this phenomenon is famously referred to as an in-app purchase (IAP) and many, if not most, games on Google Play implement this feature.
Sketchy Ventures. The name may not be familiar yet, but might soon be. They just released their very first game onto Google Play, and it’ll get fans of puzzle and fast-paced platform games interested perked up. Last week we reported on OUYA, a project that is being undertaken by some pretty big names in the design and gaming industry, which will bring an Android home game console to us for a mere $99 bucks. Yesterday an announcement from Sega was released stating that Phantasy Star Online 2 would be coming to Europe and North America in 2013 and as you all may know, it has been stated in the past from Sega that it would be coming to mobile on iOS, Android and the PS Vita. Well that may not be such a certain thing anymore.
