Square Enix’s Demon’s Score will be launched worldwide, new details and trailer released

The other week when we posted about Square Enix’s upcoming Tokyo Game Show line-up, there were a couple of the games listed that were originally coming to Android in a worldwide release were suddenly labeled as Japan-only releases. Apparently now we are back to having a worldwide release for their upcoming Unreal Engine built rhythm-based action game Demon’s Score. Along with this news, we now know a little bit more about what composers will be on there and also have a new trailer to show.

The combat, which will be based on touch and swipe controls in time with music, will be fairly fast-paced. Visually the game looks pretty solid, which is to be expected from a game being built using Unreal Engine 3. Square Enix has decided to let out who is already slated to be composing music for the game with names like Yoko Shimomura (Kingdom Hearts) Keiichi Okabe (Tekken, Nier), Zuntata, Naoshi Mizuta, Ryo Yamazaki, and Kohei Tanaka. More are also going to be announced in the near future. Check out the video below to see the new trailer which isn’t a whole lot different from the original gameplay trailer we posted awhile back.

As of right now, the Android version is slated for release ‘this Fall’ and will apparently be released only for Tegra 3 devices, at least for it’s initial release. Most the the above trailer doesn’t show much of the actual gameplay until about the last minute. If you want to see a creepy talking stuffed bear though, watch the whole thing.
