For those of you familiar with Double Fine’s upcoming game that had a very successful Kickstarter campaign, it was originally called Double Fine’s Adventure. It has been officially renamed to Double Fine’s Broken Age and now we have a first trailer available to watch. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this game, this will mostly be a point-and-click adventure game that features two stories that co-exist and intertwine with each other.

For those of you who haven’t pre-ordered an OUYA unit yet and would rather by it at retail, there is now an official date for when the Android-power console will go on sale and that is June 4th, 2013. That is, of course, as long as nothing happens to change that ate before then.
Electronic Arts has started up their annual Sweet Deals sales event for Easter and while most of the benefit, at least right now, is for gamers on iOS devices. Android gamers do have some deals that they can take advantage of should you be looking to pick up a few deals.
PerBlue may be known for their rather popular location-based MMORPGs such as Parallel Kingdom and Parallel Mafia, but the company does have one other franchise under their belt called Boardtastic Skateboarding which actually has nothing to do with location-based games. Well the sequel to Boardtastic Skateboarding has been released onto Google Play.
Gamevil has launched a new game onto Google Play called Spawn Wars 2, one of the few games the folks overs at Gamevil were teasing over on our forums for the last couple of days. Spawn Wars 2 is a strategy combat type of game but with a bit more deeper gameplay than most tend to come with.
A couple of weeks ago we mentioned that Paradox Interactive would be bringing the Magicka franchise to Android with a game called Magicka: Wizards of the Square Tablet. While this will feature pretty much all of the game mechanics of its PC brethren, the visuals and how the game plays out has been slightly changed.
Super Monkey Run is a pretty fun 3D platformer that is available for free off of Google Play. The game, developed by Geimo, is also available for PC and Mac should you want to play it on there as well. Well a new update has brought with it a new feature that you PC/Mac players might want to check out, especially if you own an Android device.
During PlayJam’s press conference yesterday at GDC 2013 the company announced that it would be shipping out units with a couple of pre-installed games. These games turned out to be Madfinger’s Shadowgun and Hutch’s Smash Cops. Both games will be available for those of you who backed the GameStick Kickstarter campaign in order to pre-order a unit.
The UK retailer GAME has the Android-powered console available for pre-orders through the company’s website as of this morning. The pre-orders, which currently have no shipping date attached to it, are available for £99 for those of you who want to pre-order one for the first line of shipping for people who didn’t back the console’s Kickstarter campaign.
There are a couple of games that will be arriving for Playstation Mobile in the near future. The two titles slated for release onto Playstation Mobile were both part of a recent indie game jam and are called Oh Deer! and Gunhouse, both of which will be released by Necrosoft soon.
