Square Enix releases Final Fantasy: All The Bravest but in Japan only for now

Back in January we talked about Square Enix who, at the time, were teasing some upcoming game that ended up being Final Fantasy: All The Bravest. After the unveiling on January 17th that it was in fact that game, it was also mentioned it was an iOS release which is why we never really followed up on the story. Well as it turns out, Square Enix had Android plans for it as well.

Unfortunately the release is for the Japanese Android market only right now so unless you live in Japan and can buy it off of the Japanese Square Enix marketplace, you’ll have to wait until it is released globally, whenever that may be. For those of you unfamiliar with this game, essentially Final Fantasy: All The Bravest brings together all of the most notable character from the entire Final Fantasy universe under one title.

In fact the entire game is like walking through all of the biggest battles in Final Fantasy history, but redone in a slightly different fashion. It’s a trip down memory lane basically. Players will group together up to 32 characters in their ‘force’ and battle it out with some of the famous Final Fantasy bad guys.

So when will this game arrive globally? Who the hell knows, we are still waiting on Final Fantasy IV to arrive although word is that Final Fantasy: All The Bravest will release globally later this month. Either way it is available for download for free regardless if you nab the Japanese version now (off of the Square Enix marketplace) or the English on later. The game is support through IAPs which Square Enix isn’t the best at just yet in terms of keeping them balanced.

On a side note, Final Fantasy: All The Bravest has a really cool micro-site that you can actually read further up on the game and its even in English. Definitely check that out as well.
