The Tegra 4 Toshiba AT10LE-A Android tablet gets leaked along with Android 4.2.1

While we don’t talk about hardware here all the time, we do get to talk about it when it pertains to Android gaming in some fashion. With Nvidia’s Tegra 4 chipset on the horizon and soon to be invading our new Android devices, getting a peek at any device that will contain the new Tegra 4 chipset is always nice. Toshiba has had their upcoming Tegra 4 Android tablet leaked out along with a glimpse at Android 4.2.1.

While Vizio is supposed to have the first Tegra 4 powered Android device released for public consumption, aside from Nvidia’s own Project Shield that is, Toshiba’s newly leaked tablet is actually one of the first devices outside of Nvidia’s Project Shield to get officially leaked out to the public. Along with the leaked tablet is a look at the keyboard dock that will be available for this tablet as well, making it a rather nice combination of hardware.

While all the specs for this tablet are not known just yet, what we do know is that the Toshiba “AT10LE-A” is running Android 4.2.1, comes with multiple ports (microSD card slot microHDMI out, 3.5mm headphone jack), and the optional keyboard dock which is a straight-up add-on and not anything that works like a cover and has no trackpad either.

As for when this tablet will hit store shelves for everyone to consider buying, we probably won’t see this become available this year but if we do get a chance to buy it in 2013, it’ll be near the end of the year.
