Even though it is Summer time and school is out, we have a couple games today that you will need to use some math you were learning about while you were studying hard in class. Numbers can be fun once in awhile!

Are you looking for a game with numbers that will make you think? Then you need to try this relatively new game from RedSpell. The premise of the game is simple. You start off with three rows of numbers from 1-9. You can cross off any two identical numbers or those adding up to 10 if these requirements are met:
– They are standing next to each other horizontally or vertically
– If one of them is last number in one line and other is the first in the next line
It might not make much sense at first but after trying a level or two you will get the hang of it. The game is tough. When you are playing there is also a timer going and if you run out of moves you can add more lines of numbers. I am only on level 4! I did not find this a fast game but one that will make you sit and think. There are hints you can use and even hit the “solve” button on a level that you find challenging but that is no fun.

Can you count that high? Well in this game you do not need count, just survive the dungeon until you reach the score of ten million and then you will be free. You might have guessed it, yes this will take you some time!
You wake up and find you are stuck in a dungeon, thus you begin your quest to escape. The game is beautifully done in retro style graphics and sounds. The game also has 60 objectives to complete and over 20 monsters you can fight. As you complete objectives it can help you survive and give you valuable skills.
When you enter the dungeon, you will be constantly running. As you progress you will come upon a monster, boss, or chest and to deal with them you will need to match at least 3 items from the grid below: three swords to attack, three keys to open chests, 3 staves to perform magical attacks, 3 shields to improve your shields, and wood and stone to help repair your castle. It can be frantic at times because you trying not die and trying to find a 3 way match. Practice makes perfect.
Now while all of this is happening, the timer is going. If the monsters do not kill you, the clock will! This is what makes the game challenging and exciting. There is a lot more to the game so you need to just go get a copy and see if you can earn ten million for freedom.
