Sega announces two upcoming games for Android which includes Sonic The Hedgehog 2

Sega has announced their upcoming line-up of games for mobile and out of the five games announced, two of them will be arriving onto Android in the near future. Of course this doesn’t mean that the other three won’t show up, just that these two are the ones arriving sooner rather than later.

The two games announced for Android are Sonic The Hedgehog 2 and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. The first game is a port of the classic Sonic The Hedgehog 2 game over to mobile devices but with reworked controls and re-mastered visuals.

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed happens to be a sequel to the original racing game that was recently released onto Android. This new racing game will have races that take place on land, in water and in the air using transformable vehicles. Of course it will have plenty of characters from classic Sega games as well. There will also be new tournament modes to play through including both local and online multiplayer with up to four people racing at the same time.

As for when each of these games will make their way to Android users, there is no specific release dates announced, only general time frames. Sonic The Hedgehog 2 is slated for release this November 2013 while Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is currently pegged with a Winter 2013.
