Nvidia plans to showoff new gaming innovations and new Tegra mobile tech at CES 2014

That magical time every year in January where the Consumer Electronics Show kicks off is almost upon us once again. Of course we will be there sifting through everything that we can find related to Android gaming. Nvidia will be hosting an invite-only press conference this Sunday, January 5th, 2014, the company will be showing off new innovations in gaming along with new advancements in their mobile Tegra technology.

Unfortunately details regarding any of these upcoming announcements that will be made during this Sunday’s events are being kept hush hush. Of course that doesn’t mean we can’t take a stab at what it is they will be announcing. You can be sure it will have something to do with Nvidia’s Android-powered handheld gaming system called Shield.

We can probably guess that at least one announcement will be that the GameStream technology, which is currently in beta for the Nvidia Shield, will be officially launched in a much bigger capacity than it already is. As for the advancements in Tegra technology, usually we get an announcement of a new version of the Tegra chip at CES so it is a pretty safe bet that the Tegra 5 chipset will be announced.

Of course these are just our guesses as to what will be announced and things can turn out completely different. What do you think will be announced or hope will be announced at Nvidia’s press event in a few days? Let us know in the comments below!
