Back in October of 2013 Cinemaware released their WWII adventure game Rocket Ranger onto Android. Not too long after that the company started a Kickstarter campaign in order to bring an enhanced version of this game to gamers which is called Rocket Ranger Reloaded. The good news is that the Kickstarter campaign was successful and the development for this game has been fully funded.
Rocket Ranger Reloaded brings the same hero from the original game back for more action. This will be a fresh new take on the classic video game originally released in 1988 and will feature new gameplay sequences, a much deeper storyline, a larger strategic element and, of course, new stylized graphics that bring the 1930s and 40s to life.
For those of you not familiar with the storyline of Rocket Ranger, this game takes place in an alternate reality where the Nazis and Axis Powers won World War II. Players will take charge of the hero of this game and using a rocket pack and futuristic technology to travel the world in order to get rid of escalating threats and making crucial strategic decisions in order to try and prevent the Nazis for succeeding in their ultimate victory which is basically taking over Earth.
Right now there is no definitive release date announced for when Rocket Ranger Reloaded will land on Google Play. Considering how much time is left in this year, we can safely assume it will arrive somewhere in Q2 of 2015.
