[Update: Premium Version] HandyGames releases an update for their Aces of the Luftwaffe shooter

HandyGames has released their newest update for their arcade shooter game called Aces of the Luftwaffe. This particular game is a WWII themed top-down shooter where players will be going up against the forces of the Axis. This game takes place during the Battle of Britain and it will be your job to stop all the waves of enemy planes coming in.

Update: February 3rd, 2015 10:37am PST: The premium version of Aces of the Luftwaffe is now available on Google Play for $1.99. This removes the ads in-game as well as starts you off with an additional 2000 Gold Crosses to use. You can grab this through the link at the bottom.

While you’ll have to deal with waves of enemy aircraft coming at you, occasionally you’ll make it far enough to encounter a boss fight as well. These boss fights can get pretty challenging for most people.

This new update brings a whole new campaign to the game along with a new plane (the P-59) and a new pilot as well named Tykers. New enemies will also be making their appearance in this update. There has also been a lot of UI changes as well including the menus being redesigned, improved daylight effects and low memory requirements overall.

Lastly Google Play Games Services has been integrated into Aces of the Luftwaffe including a whole bunch of new achievements to earn. If you’re a fan of this game, you can now download the update off of Google Play.
