Battle Cats tower defense game from Ponos Corporation has received a pretty big update that brings with a lot of new content as well as improvements. The feline-filled game has players sending out their cat soldiers to defend against incoming enemies in the hopes of keeping their home base tower safe. The best defense is to have a good offense at times so you will need to push through your enemies and hopefully destroy their tower instead.
This new update bring an additional 50 levels to work your way through. New stages means new enemies and according to Ponos, there are “dozens” of new enemy types that you will have to deal with. Also included are several new sets of bizarre new characters to have fun with. Along with all the new content, players can now see how well they have done thanks to the new User Rank and reward system in Battle Cats.
Ponos is celebrating the release of this update, officially numbered version 2.0, with “generous reward campaigns where users can receive random item boosts each day, in addition to free premium characters at the beginning of the campaign”. In other words there is a lot of free goodies to get for a limited time.
