[Update: Deluxe Version Released] Crescent Moon Games releases the dark tower climbing MicRogue onto Google Play

Crescent Moon Games seems to be quite the busy little bees as of late, with plenty of releases going on from them. Their newest one is a game called MicRogue and is all about climbing a tower, getting the loots, and not dying in the process.

Update: September 25th, 12:22pm PST: Crescent Moon Games has released the deluxe version of MicRogue onto Google Play. While the original game is free to download, this one is available for $1.99 instead. The difference between the two is that the Deluxe version has no ads. You can grab this new version via the new link at the bottom.

MicRogue is a roguelike game where players will be controlling their little guy as he climbs a tower full of monsters and loot. Unlike a lot of dungeon crawlers out there, this one doesn’t necessarily focus on levels and gear. Instead, MicRogue focuses more on movement in order to be successful. You will also have to pay attention to the monsters around you as each one does behave differently. This makes learning patterns a bit challenge, mainly because there really isn’t any.

Not only do the monsters behave differently, but because this is a roguelike game, all the levels are randomized as well. Each level is a challenge in itself, and you’ll need to figure out how to successfully get through each one. If you die, you’ll need to start again and everything will be different. Same goes for when you are successful in completing the game and do another run. Don’t forget, there’s also traps to worry about, not just monsters.

MicRogue is currently available off of Google Play for free with no IAPs either. You can check out the game in action via the trailer below.
