[UPDATE: Game Released] Award-winning minimalistic game Prune will be arriving onto Android next week

A rather beautiful, minimalistic game called Prune will finally be making its way to Android next week. This game won Best Upcoming Games at the 11th IMGA (International Mobile Gaming Awards) and was also runner-up at the IndiePlus 2015. Awards aside, Prune is a really unique looking game with a pretty interesting concept.

[UPDATE: Thursday, October 22nd – 1:38 AM – PST] The award winning game Prune from Joel McDonald, is now available to download in the Google Play Store.  You can purchase the game for $3.99 and there are no in-app purchases. The link to download the game can be found at the end of this article.

For those of you not familiar with Prune, in this game players will use swipe gestures to cultivate and shape their tree, getting it into the sunlight so it can grow. However, you will also need to make sure your trees avoid the hostilities found in the world around it.

Prune Features:

• A unique digital plant for your pocket
• Beautiful, minimalist art and a super clean interface—it’s just you and the trees
• Meditative music and sound design for you to zen out to
• Share screenshots of your unique tree creations with friends

This is definitely one of those really cool zen-like games that you can relax and play for either a short period of time, or for hours. If you’re a fan of these types of games, Prune will be landing onto Android next week on October 22nd, 2015. If it follows the same pricing as the iOS version, Prune will cost $3.99 with no IAPs, no monetization, no in-game currencies, nothing. In the meantime, you can check out the game’s trailer below.
