Back in March 2015 during PAX East we reported on a fun retro-style arcade game called Downwell that would be heading to mobile devices. Not too long after Downwell landed on iOS and has done quite well for itself, gaining a rather large community of fans. That community will start getting bigger thanks to the game’s Android release a few days ago.

Released by Laxarus, Tigerball is a new physics-based game that’s now out on Android. In this game, players are looking to bounce a yellow ball with black stripes (hence the name) into a basket. For each stage, the obstacles that must be bypassed by the ball will change.
We don’t get to talk about Atari too much these days, at least in regards to mobile gaming. However today marks an exception to that rule as the company has globally launched a new sim-style game called Pridefest, which is themed around celebrating equality with the LGBTQ community.
Razor Forge TV owners lately have had plenty of new games to try out, thanks to the Ouya Marketplace and most of the games from there being available on the Cortex storefront. One game, called Read Only Memories, is now available on the Cortex store for Forge TV owners for free.
Release by Full Fat, Flick Quarterback 16 is the newest addition to the company’s ongoing series of Flick Quarterback titles, which is now out on Android. As one might guess from the game’s name, players will use flicking motions to both cause the quarterback to throw the ball, as well as to help steer the ball either left or right during flight, in the hopes of hitting the receiver, while keeping an eye open for the incoming blitz.
