Avoid traps while exploring dungeons in Dungeon Trap 3D, now out on Google Play

Released by Daft Monkey Games, Dungeon Trap 3D is a Crossy Road clone that’s been recently released on to Google Play. In similar fashion to it, the game uses the overly boxy and exaggerated pixels for it’s visual design, and also has the same player perspective and character control.

For the uninitiated, players will be tapping/swiping in the direction they’d like their character to move, one space at a time. The game has a bit of an “Indiana Jones” feel to its aesthetics, with the protagonist appearing to be a bit of a riff on him, as opposed to the more cartoony characters found in Crossy Road.

There are also a variety of dungeon themed hazards that need to be avoided, such as spikes that thrust up from the floor, moving platforms that float over a deep abyss, narrow and windy paths that players must carefully navigate so as to not fall over the edge, and so on.

Dungeon Trap 3D is available for free from Google Play, and contains interstitial video ads for developer support and appear outside of the gameplay, such as after the player has died.
