The Mother 3 and Mana developer is launching the RPG Egglia on Android this summer

If you’re a fan of JRPGs, we’ve got some excellent news for you. A developer of the classics Mother 3 and Mana is bringing the mobile-exclusive RPG Egglia to the west.

It’s absolutely gorgeous, as you can expect. It’s both reminiscent of the classics and bang up to date, thanks to a combination of hand drawn visuals and 3D modelling.

But enough of this nonsense. Egglia challenges you to take on of quests to collect eggs, which you use to unlock new areas of a sealed map.

Egglia is an upcoming mobile RPG by the developer of Mother 3 and Mana.

Doing so provides you with more room to explore, and encourages new citizens to move into your town. That’s the real goal here – expanding your town with new buildings, citizens, and decorations.

Of course, there’s plenty of the usual RPG fare. You’ll battle monsters, collect items, and level up your character.

If you speak and read Japanese, you can grab Egglia right now from the Japanese Google Play. The rest of us will have to wait until summer though, when it releases over in the west.
