Noodlecake is launching Myst sequel Riven on Android today

Riven is the sequel to Myst which just launched on Android.

Noodlecake and Cyan are at it again. Following up the remaster of 1993’s excellent Myst, today the duo will launch a jazzed up version of sequel Riven.

It originally launched in 1997, and picks up right where Myst left off. You once again assist Atrus in his efforts to free his wife from his deranged father, Gehn.

Riven to madness

In gameplay terms, this involves exploring a beautiful world in first person and solving a bunch of swipey puzzles. It’s even more of a looker this time as well, thanks to an extensive visual overhaul.

If you’re a fan of point and click adventures, you’ll be right at home here.

Out shortly on Google Play

Riven will launch shortly on Google Play and the Amazon Appstore for a mere $6.99 / £5.44 (approx). If you’re impatient, check out the excellent realMyst which is already available.
