Droid Gamers is starting an intern program where we can offer three months’ experience to budding writers, looking to work in the field of mobile gaming. This is an unpaid role that would suit someone starting their writing career who’s looking for experience with a well known gaming website.
If you are successful, then you’ll be able to work alongside experienced writing staff who have worked in mobile gaming for a number of years and can guide you along your path to media world domination! Or a successful writing career – it all depends on the candidate…
Write for Droid Gamers
No experience is necessary. We’re looking for a keen person who has excellent standards of written English and a passion for Android gaming. You’ll need to submit a CV and an example of writing content of approximately 300 words on a subject of your choice. We would recommend choosing a game or recent news topic in Android gaming that you are interested in and curating your own piece. Look at the style of our current articles and try to stick closely to this!
Submit these to editor [at] droidgamers.com and make your subject ‘Application for Droid Gamers intern’. If you wish, you can include a cover letter with some details about why you’d like to write for Droid Gamers.
The closing date for entries is May 5th 2017, we’ll read through the submissions and choose an intern no later than May 12th. We’ll get in touch via the e-mail address on your CV, so make sure it’s correct. Good luck!
