We may not have got Breath of the Wild on Android (at least not yet), but we are getting Cat Quest. No, that wasn’t a joke – Cat Quest is a massive adventure that borrows from The Legend of Zelda.
Other inspirations include Skyrim and Final Fantasy. In fact, developer The Gentlebros. officially described it as:
the overworld of Final Fantasy, the combat and exploration of Zelda, and the open world of Skyrim all in one cat package!

If that doesn’t tempt you, then I don’t know what will – aside from the above gameplay footage of course. If you can’t imagine how it plays in action, just watch that and shake your head for ever doubting it.
Too lazy? Here’s it in words. You’ll explore a massive 2D map inspired by Final Fantasy‘s overworld, meet a bunch of interesting characters, and conquer a bunch of dungeons. Of course, there’s plenty of questing and combat to boot too.
Cat Quest looks like one well worth checking out, but we’ll have to hold on until the summer. Check out the official site for more information.
