A Shadow of War mobile version just appeared out of nowhere on Google Play, and it’s in beta right now. It continues the tale of Talion and Celebrimbor where it left off in Shadow of Mordor, as they strive to defeat Sauron.
It’s not a direct port though – which you probably guessed. No, this is a gacha RPG featuring unlockable characters from The Lord of the Rings universe. If you’ve always wanted to create your own fellowship with Gandalf, Gollum, and Legolas, here’s your chance.
Shadow of War has a mobile version in beta right now
What it does include though, is the nemesis system from Shadow of Mordor. Much like its predecessor, you’ll occasionally face an orc that will remember your actions in battle. It might mock you for a previous defeat, or rain fury on you for slaying a friend.
Battles are in real time as well, and you have to direct your team’s tactics. You can also use each member’s special attack when it’s available, to turn the tide of battle.
