Stormbound: Kingdom Wars is an upcoming card battler by Kongregate that just soft launched on Google Play. We’re not sure which territories exactly, but we’ll keep you posted.
It combines CCG and RTS mechanics to create something new entirely, though there are shades of Clash Royale about it.
You’ll create a deck of cards as normal then head into a real time multiplayer battle. You and your opponent will then take it in turns playing cards.
Stormbound: Kingdom Wars combines CCG and RTS mechanics
Your goal is to destroy your opponent’s base using your deck of cards. Play a unit card and the unit will spawn on the game board and start making its way towards the base.
Thus begins a game of attacking and countering, with the wide variety of card types available. You can also upgrade all cards to help give you the upper hand.
There are four kingdoms to choose from, each of which is aimed at a different play style. So it’s definitely worth having experimenting with each of them.
