Your grandparents might download ‘San Andreas crime simulator’ for you in error

There is a possible scenario in which you end up with San Andreas crime simulator Game 2017 on your phone or tablet.

It would have to go something like this: you’re in a rush to leave for a holiday, and your grandparents ask if there’s anything they can do to help. You want to play GTA: San Andreas during your internet-free holiday, so you ask them to download it for you.

They search for San Andreas in the games section of Google Play, and take a stab at this one. What else can they do? There are about ten different games with San Andreas in the title and they all look the same. Your grandparents have never heard of Rockstar.

At first you don’t notice what they’ve done, because the logo looks familiar. They’ve even used the same font. But then you boot it up.

Maybe it’s not so bad. Maybe. You’ve got a 3D crime sim to play. It’s set in a fictionalised Los Angeles. You can ride motorbikes and shoot people.

Give it the benefit of the doubt, by all means. But from now on keep your grandparents away from Google Play.
