If you’ve been living in a cave, it’s a lifestyle sim in which you end up living among animals. Most of the gameplay involves gathering resources, making friends, and decorating your house.
This particular version is set at a campsite that you’ve recently taken charge of. Your goal is to rebuild it to its former glory and get the visitors flowing again.
Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is out November 22nd on Android
Pocket Camp is a mobile game though, so most of the systems have been adapted to suit the smaller screen. There’s no massive open world to explore, for example.
Instead, you’ll visit a bunch of different smaller locations in your camper van home to gather resources and visit friends.
There’s also a greater focus on social play. You can add your friends in game and interact with them in a bunch of interesting ways.
