NetEase has proven itself the master of making games inspired by others. We’ve had Knives Out and Rules of Survival, both of which lean heavily on Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds, and now Quantum Special Attack.
This time around NetEase is taking inspiration from Fortnite, though that was also inspired by PUBG. So I guess in a roundabout way, this is just another one of those clones.

But at least the visual style is a little different this time, eh? It’s cartoony like Fortnite and Team Fortress before it.
It’s also a little sillier. In a gameplay video we’ve seen, you can turn into a scarecrow to blend in with the environment. No doubt there are other equally crazy things you can do to try and survive.
