Much like the original, you grow up a digital pet and try to keep it healthy. That involves feeding it, cleaning it, and making sure it gets enough sleep. There’s plenty of time for fun as well though, as you can play with it too.

How you take care of your Tamagotchi really matters though, because it will grow differently depending on its environment. I guess that’s not so different from real life.
New in this version though is an entire town that you can visit and explore to make new friends for your Tamagotchi. It’s a nice little addition that seems ripped out of Animal Crossing or Harvest Moon.
