Fortnite Battle Royale is coming to Android

Fortnite Battle Royale Android

Epic has just announced that its PUBG-like shooter Fortnite Battle Royale is coming to mobile in its entirety. We don’t mean a mobile game tie-in like a match three puzzler or card battler either – this is literally Fortnite as it plays on platforms.

It will still feature up to 100 players and will be cross compatible between PS4, PC, and Mac. That means you can play a game on your phone with your friends on PS4, PC, or Mac in completely different locations. Mad!

Fortnite Battle Royale is coming to mobile in its entirety

Fortnite is a battle royale type multiplayer game in which you face off against 99 other players. The goal is to end the match as the last player standing, and you can achieve that in any manner possible.

You start a match with only a pickaxe for resource gathering, and have to scrounge together an arsenal. Then, you just have to survive. There’s no shame in hiding, or teaming up with others to kill everyone else.

The safe zone of the map continuously shrinks due to a dangerous storm enclosing the area. That might sound annoying, but it means that matches won’t last forever, which is only a good thing. We’ll keep you posted on the full release.
