7 new Android games you have to play this week

PUBG Mobile Shooters Android

We’re calling this week the shooter showdown, as juggernauts PUBG Mobile and Shadowgun Legends both launched on Android. That’s a hell of a lot of content alone to blast your way through this weekend.

What’s a real shame is that we could have included Fortnite if it hadn’t only arrived on iOS in beta form. How utterly selfish of it. Ah well, here’s the best new Android games out this week.

The best new Android game this week: PUBG Mobile – Get it

It was very touch deciding between this and Shadowgun Legends as the best game this week. Ultimately though, we feel like PUBG Mobile deserves the top spot because it’s an absolutely outstanding port.

Also, it’s completely free right now, with no ads or IAPs of any kind to speak of. They’ll almost certainly show up later, but for now you can enjoy yourself at no cost whatsoever.

Shadowgun Legends – Get it

Shadowgun Legends may not have taken the top spot this week, but it would be a crime not to check out both of these games. This is Destiny for mobile, basically, and who doesn’t want that?

Nano Golf – Get it

Nano Golf is the latest game from mobile stalwarts Nitrome. It’s basically a puzzle game crossed with mini golf, as you have to figure out how to navigate a bunch of tricksy courses in as few moves as possible.

Pacific Rim: Breach Wars – Get it

So this is just your typical mobile game cash in match three puzzler, but we’re including it for those that like the movie and want more of the action. If that’s not you, skip to the next one!

Dumb Ways to Die 3: World Tour – Get it

Yay! A new entry in the mobile’s answer to WarioWare franchise. Dumb Ways to Die 3: World Tour provides a bunch more zany minigames for you to enjoy. So go and enjoy them!

Idle Tuber Empire – Get it

Idle Tuber Empire lets you build up your own massive YouTube channel without putting in any of the actual hard work. It’s one of those simulation games that let you live an alternative life in a game.

Flip: Surfing Colors – Get it

Flip: Surfing Colors is a high score chasing mobile game in which you trick and combo your way through a bunch of colourful cities looking for pieces of real life art. Bit weird, but we dig it.
