Chain Strike brings a chess spin to the typical formula, but really it just looks like it’s nicked the combat system from Fire Emblem Heroes. Much like Nintendo’s offering, it plays out on a 5×7 grid.
But you do have units that mimic chess units though, and they can only move like they can. That’s kind of new. Not new are the different types of “Guardians” (read: heroes) you can collect that have different stats.
So basically, if you like gacha RPGs where you summon endless streams of garbage heroes in the hopes of getting a good one once in a million times, pre-register for this on Google Play now.
