The folks behind Bayonetta, Platinum Games, has turned its gaze to mobile with the upcoming action RPG, World of Demons.
According to the developer, the aim is to create a Devil May Cry and Bayonetta-like experience for mobile. The best part is that Platinum has promised no compromises.
You’ll play with the touch screen, presumably using a series of taps and swipes to pull off slick moves. You can also pull off awesome finishing moves, which change depending on the weapon you wield.

There are three different samurai to choose from, with each providing a different way to play. You’ll also beat monsters known as yokai to collect them.
You can then summon any yokai in your collection to fight alongside you in battle. Apparently there are over 80 of these in total, which is pretty cool.
World of Demons is due to arrive on iOS first this summer, with the Android release following shortly after. We’ll try and narrow down that release date for you.
