The Elder Scrolls: Blades is an upcoming mobile entry in the long-lived franchise. It features a variety of dungeons to explore, and a bunch of first person combat styles.

It features virtual controls or simple taps to control your character. You can fight in melee, ranged, or by using various magic spells.

Curiously, it runs in portrait mode on your phone. We’re not sure if that’s the default way to play, but it’s a great option for when you’re playing in tight surroundings.

Aside from combat, you can also build your own town – which is standard fare in mobile games at this point. Still, it’s absolutely gorgeous and it will be free to play.

The Elder Scrolls: Blades will launch on Android this upcoming September 1st. You can pre-register for it on Google Play right now.
