Command & Conquer is a long dormant strategy franchise that was all the rage during the noughties. This year it’s making a triumphant comeback with a brand new mobile entry, Command & Conquer: Rivals.
This provides strategy kicks on a much smaller scale than back in the day. We’re not just talking in terms of screen size either – Rivals is all about 1v1 warfare against a real opponent.
Command & Conquer returns this year with Rivals
It’s kind of like Clash Royale but with a lot more strategic depth. You have to battle on a small tiled board as you strive to defeat your opponent’s base.
You do so by chucking a bunch of units down on the board, and take control of specific tiles. It appears that there are a wide variety of units on offer, each providing a unique benefit.
Command & Conquer: Rivals will launch on Android later this year, though we’re not sure of the exact release window. You can bet your bottom dollar we’ll be back with more info as soon as we’re able, but you can learn more on the official site.
