The Year 4 update brings with it the ability to own a pet — as everybody knows, the automatic right of every child in Year 4 at boarding school.
There are four pets to choose from: a rat, a cat, and owl, and a toad. If you choose a toad for a pet, you’re doing it wrong.
These pets have more than just an ornamental value. If you wake yours up while it’s sleeping you’ll receive an energy boost. Also, your pet is your companion throughout the game.
