Help Lara Croft rescue her friends from a cult in Tomb Rader, now out for Shield TV on Google Play

Originally the reboot released for desktops and consoles a few years back, NVidia has announced that the 2013 version of Tomb Raider is now coming to Shield TV. In this game, players will be assuming the role of the iconic Lara Croft, as she establishes herself in a trial by fire. She and her friends have set out on a naval expedition to find the lost kingdom of Yamatai, only to have their shipped destroyed and the crew washed up on an island that’s presumed deserted, but is home to a violent cult.

Enjoy Rock, Paper, Scissors? RPS Knights is a spin on the idea, and available from Google Play

Released by Magic Cube, RPS Knights is a new, casual game for the Android Platform. In this game, players will be tasked with simply seeing how many stages they can complete. The idea of RPS Knights is fairly simple. There are three facets of the game Rock, Paper, Scissors, and within RPS Knights, there’s a character that has been “assigned” to each one of those, in a corollary fashion. So, for example, the Wizard character is aligned with Paper, while the solder is Rock.

[Update: Game Released] Plan and execute your own jailbreak in The Escapists, arriving on Android this week

Prison break out game The Escapists has been announced that it’s coming to Android soon. In this game, players will customize the name and appearance of their prisoner, and then proceed to break out of the institution. Players will have to creatively utilize both item management as well as crafting (for example, making a Sock Mace or Comb Blade out of the requisite components, or locating a screwdriver to remove the grill over an air vent, so the character can climb through to better navigate the prison), and observation (such as noticing the patterns that guards follow, both in timing as well as what paths they follows, to reduce the chance of being caught).

In this near future setting, players are drawn into the war over information, that’s fought between companies in the hopes of landing patents and contracts. In order to wage this war, the companies pay the most talented of hackers to perform corporate espionage.

To be released by Indigo Entertainment, Agent Aliens is a new “arcade style, run and gun game” that’s coming to Android, that spoofs on the show a little bit, in it’s name and some of the tutorial’s visuals. Currently in a beta state available on Google Play, this game is designed to be fairly simple and quick of pace. The crew of aliens that players will control are in charge of things such as returning fire, aiming, and cool down periods. On the other hand, players will have direct control over movement related mechanics, such as dodging fire, weaving through enemies, and avoiding traps.

Released by Upside Down Bird, Gravity Ball is a new platform/puzzler for the Android Platform. In this game, players will be tasked with navigating the eponymous Gravity Ball toward the warp, found at the end of each level. Each of these levels is set within a poly influenced mine field of sorts, visually speaking, and players will need to use a set of abilities to properly handle the gaps in platforms, and do so in the proper order.
