Vogelstein 2D Mini-Review: A 2D version of Wolfenstein 3D for Android

Vogelstein 2D is a hidden little gem of a game, like a well guarded secret.  It also handily serves as an example of what is great about the Android Marketplace.  Sure, your Shadowguns and your Modern Combats get all the “attention”, but you have the true hobbyists who tinker and release games.  Many times, these games are a labor of love, and I am proud to report that Vogelstein 2D is such a game.

Shine Runner Review: Vector Unit Makes Waves Once Again

Vector Unit’s second outing on the Android platform returns to the familiar water racing genre similar to their first hit, Riptide GP that first made splashes on Tegra 2 devices. Leaving behind water tracks in favor of a southern swamps and jet skis for fan boat, Shine Runner’s unique humor and arcade game play is great addition to the racing scene. Is it enough for you to put your swimming trunks on and anchor $1.99?

Sim City Deluxe Review – Does EA’s Sim City franchise still have life in it?

The granddaddy of city management finally lands on Android, and while he’s slower and makes less sense; there is still that twinkle in his eye. The Sim City series has had a long history, from its humble beginnings in the dark ages of 1989 to the current day, no one game has quite nailed the balance of fun and frustration of running a city the way that Sim City does.  Sim City and its sequels have been ported to almost every system in existence over the years, some good and some terrible.
