Bow Hunter 2015 is a hunting simulation arcade game, similar to games like Deer Hunter, where players use different types of bows in their hunting adventures. There’s no guns in this game like other hunting games, it’s all about archery, whether it be crossbows, compound bows, or other kinds.
An update is planned thanks to a partnership between iEntertainment Network and Excalibur to bring digital versions of Excalibur’s real-life crossbows into the game. In fact the entire line of crossbows will be added to the game and will become available in the Pro Shop when they arrive.
We had a chance to play the game and were quite impressed with the 3D graphics and accurate hunting mechanics. We’re excited to have our line of crossbows added to iEntertainment’s simulation game. It is a neat way to bring a real world product into a game without it being a blatant advertising gimmick. All of the crossbows will be rendered with realistic 3D graphics, and will sport their actual specifications and full ballistics details.
As for when the update will arrive, there’s no word on that just yet, only that it will be ‘coming soon’.
