A developer behind Minecraft: Pocket Edition is just about to release a game all about felines at war, and it looks very promising. Meow Wars is landing on Android devices on the 9th of August – so this Wednesday – and will offer up an intriguing blend of cards and cats.
In fact it’s based around the card game War. But looks to play a very unique version of it – it’s not just a simple game of “the higher card wins” by any means.
Feline fine with Meow Wars
The hand-drawn artstyle is enough to make this game stand out, but there’s a fairly detailed plot to get your claws into as well It involves a quest to reach Commander Catrat and wrestle free Claw Mountain from his paws.
Each stage you’re given a new ability and are introduced to a new character. Aside from the single player mode there are PVP duels options too, and you can also test yourself against global opponents.
