Complete Hades RNG Combat Guide

Combat in Hades RNG is very simple. You use the moves at your disposal to reduce your enemy’s health down to zero, while using defensive moves to stop them doing the same to you. In this guide, I’ve broken down every aspect of Combat in Hades RNG. Read on to begin your training.

Basic Moves

The following moves are available to every character in Hades RNG, regardless of the Aura they have equipped. I’ve listed the key binding for each move next to the move name.

  • Basic Attack (M1) – A simple attack that inflicts stun and knockback. You can chain this into a combo of up to 4 hits.
  • Block (F) – A non-damaging move that prevents damage from incoming attacks. This will work on most moves, but some, such as Uncommon Flare, will break through a Block.
  • Dash (C) – An evasive move. Your character moves quickly in the direction specified.

Aura-Specific Moves

In addition to the above, you’ll also gain access to other moves based on the Aura you have equipped. The way this works is as follows:

  • The Common Aura gives you 1 extra move.
  • Auras with a rarity value between 5 and 249 give you 2 extra moves.
  • Auras with a rarity value between 250 and 999 give you 3 extra moves.
  • Auras with a rarity value of 1,000 and above give you 4 extra moves.

Full List Of Aura-Exclusive Moves

The exact moves each Aura offers vary, but generally the rarer and Aura, the more powerful the extra moves it grants you. The following is a full list of all Aura-exclusive moves known at time of writing.

  • Common Nuke (Q) – This move is exclusive to the Common Aura. Blows up your character, killing yourself and dealing 15 damage to everything around you. This attack can’t be blocked.
  • Uncommon Flare (Q) – A move exclusive to the Uncommon Aura. Your character spins around twice, dealing damage twice in a radius around them. The first hit can be blocked, but the second can’t.
  • Stoppable Smash (E) – This move is exclusive to the Uncommon Aura. Your character charges forward, dealing damage 1-7 times to any enemies in front of them.
  • Good Barrage (Q) – A move exclusive to the Good Aura. Unleashes a barrage of low-damage attacks in front of your character.
  • Good Patience (E) – This move is exclusive to the Good Aura. It’s a temporary buff skill. While active, it restores a small amount of health each time you take damage.
  • Destroy (Q) – A move exclusive to the Rare Aura. Your character grabs the opponent, and follows up with a high-damage slam.
  • Give Up! (E) – This move is exclusive to the Rare Aura. Your character unleashes a short-range projectile barrage. This hits foes in front multiple times for low damage.
