[UPDATED: Game Released] Driver Speedboat Paradise from Ubisoft, coming to Android next month

Created by Ubisoft, Driver Speedboat Paradise is the latest installment in Ubisoft’s crossplatform series, with the sales and notoriety heretofore largely stemming from consoles. Within this game, players assume the role of a rash youth who hopes to become rich and famous from racing powerboats, only to be recruited by John Tanner to assist him in combating organized crime.

[UPDATE: April 9th, 3:48 AM, PST] Ubisoft’s latest game is now available to download. If you enjoy racing games, then Driver Speedboat Paradise is available to download for free. The game does have in-app purchases, should you choose to take advantage of them. The link to download the game is located at the end of the article.

According to Ubisoft’s press release, Driver Speedboat Paradise will bed played on a “true-to-life water and dynamic wave system” with “realistic waves that change in height, power and frequency in real-time.” As the game progresses, players will be able to both customize and upgrade their speedboats, as well as acquire new ones.

Some of the skills players will acquire within the game include the staples such as steering and accelerating, as well as water drifting and the use of nitro boosters. Players will also be surfing down, jumping up, and doing tricks.

The game is set to release in April 2015, and will be free-to-play, presumably with some sort of optional IAPs.
