A new space themed RPG with an open world style of gameplay has arrived onto Google Play today called Galactic Phantasy Prelude. Developed by Moonfish Software, this is a rather large 3D Action-RPG where you can either follow the quests and storyline of the game or venture off on your own and hopefully not die within 30 minutes of doing your own thing.
In terms of content, Galactic Phantasy Prelude has a lot of it. You’ll have the ability to build up your fleet with 46 different types of ships that are available across a variety of different classes from a Frigate up to a massive Battlecruiser and everything in between. Combat plays out like a third-person arcade game so you’ll actually need some skill to survive and do well in combat.
While you have 46 different possible ships to have, there is a ton of customization available for each one. There is over 2000 different pieces of equipment you can customize your ships with. This means you can tailor each ship and class to suit your play style a little better. As for quests, you can do whatever you want whether it be venturing off on your own or following the storyline. Either way there is a 10 star rating system per mission so getting a perfect score will take a few attempts at least.
How you survive in this game is up to you. You can rob other ships, smuggle goods and other not-so-good activities or you can be a good guy and stop ships from doing those types of activities. How you play this game is up to you but it is definitely not a game you will be finishing in one sitting.
