Mind Candy and GREE partner up to bring two Moshi Monster games to mobile

Pairing up today’s earlier news of the GREE social gaming platform going worldwide in an open beta that has launched today, GREE has also partnered up with Mind Candy, developers of the Moshi Monsters game to start bringing those games to mobile devices worldwide.

The Moshi Monster games have a huge following already with 60 million registered users already. That number will increase greatly when the games start going worldwide. In the beginning there will be two Moshi Monster games offered up to Android gamers with more to come after. Mind Candy isn’t stopping there either with their push into mobile as they are hiring an in-house team of developers solely focus on partnership and mobile game development.

For those of you unfamiliar with Moshi Monsters, the franchise is built around the online casual social game Moshi Monsters where players can pick a monster as a pet, grow it and train it while completing things like daily puzzles, playing games, solving Super Moshi Missions, personalizing their room, showing off artwork, reading stories and communicating with friends in a safe environment.

No word just yet on what the first two games will be but we do know that they will arrive in Q4 2012. Full press release below for your reading pleasure.
