Spike Chunsoft has announced that the Nintendo DS RPG Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer is launching on Android in Japan later this year.
Shiren the Wanderer is the second entry in the franchise, which made its debut on the Super Famicom over in Japan.
Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer is a roguelike RPG
It’s a turn-based roguelike JRPG in which you play as the eponymous wanderer who travels through thirty different areas on his way to the Land of the Golden Condor.
If you die, you have to start the game all over again. However, you can store powerful items in a warehouse and pick them up again on a subsequent game to maintain some progress.
We’ll let you know as soon as this is available in Japan. The same goes if we get an announcement of a western release.
