Pong gets recreated, modernized, fed a little steroids and becomes Paddletronic Duel

Pong has been around for a very long time and has seen revamps and recreations of it over and over again. Well now there is a new one that has been developed by Bursting Brains Studio called Paddletronic Duel. This takes pong, adds glow-y retro graphics, specialized paddles and much more to what once was just a simple game.

Paddletronic Duel is a rather pumped up version of Pong that has had a lot of additions made to it. While the premise is the same, there are specialized paddles that do different actions that players can choose to use such as the Ninja Paddle that lets you toss shuriken at your opponent. There are also obstacles, usually spinning, that can appear on the playing field to generally make life more difficult in trying to score on your opponent.

While the game can be played in single player mode versus the computer controlled opponents, the real focus is on multiplayer gameplay which is done with a split-screen layout. So you can battle it out with a friend while using just the one device. The visuals certainly add to the more ‘extreme’ flair this game has with all of the changes it has over the original Pong game.
