The Humble Store sells DRM-free games using the Humble Bundle platform. However, here you usually pay the premium price for the games, as opposed to paying what you want during the Humble Bundle sales. They're usually available on PC, Mac and Linux alongside their game soundtracks.

I was under the impression that Expander (which released last week) was the first game to list its Android version on its Humble Store page. However, I did a search on this earlier and was surprised that there were a few games before that which already had their Android versions available via this method.

Since the Humble Store is not actually a store-front, I've decided to compile a list of games that can be bought via this method. Yes, they usually cost more than the Google Play version (if available), but this might be an attractive option for those who want the PC equivalent of the game or its soundtrack. Or, you know, for those who can only purchase games via alternative payment methods.

List of Android games available via the Humble Store:

Delver

Expander

Gentlemen!

Incredipede

Kairo

Ku: Shroud of the Morrigan

QbQbQb

Savant: Ascent

Spirits

Waking Mars

I see the Humble Store as a pretty bad deal most of the time...with Humble Bundles and Weekly Sales, you're getting a lot for low price, but buying something at full price, from a location that has serious lack of updates...I don't know if it's worth it

Usually, unless a game is marked as a Beta in the Humble Android Bundles, I don't see why updates are important at all. It's not like these games get content added etc at a later date. But yes, I understand this might be a stumbling block for some.

As for buying the games from here...yeah they aren't exactly the cheapest. However, like I said above, they're good if you want your games cross-platform w/ soundtracks, and happened to miss a previous bundle. At most, an Android game will only get repeated twice. So, for those who want Waking Mars now for example on both their PC and Android device, it seems like a pretty good deal to me.

Actually, they did post a few updates a while backbut it seems like about a month after release, the games don't get updated anymore...weird.

Also not really, Bladeslinger actually got an update in the Humble store (well, it was in a Humble Bundle at least) to add the new content they added later in v1.4.0...maybe that's the only time they post updates, when there's an actual content update? o.o

Raiden Legacy updated to version 1.8.4

Frozen Synapse updated to version 1.0.1 (not beta anymore I guess)

Awesome, thanks! Now that makes it 3 new games in the past 2 weeks that have appeared in the Humble Store (compared to six in for the previous one year). Looks like hopefully devs are taking it more seriously now.

I hope so. It's actually a pretty cool way of doing things. Initially I was a bit skeptical because the purchases weren't made through Google Play, but I really like that you get access to additional stuff like soundtracks and versions of the game on different platforms. I look forward to seeing which games end up on here in the future.

It's fine for me since you anyway can download them from one central location. But they do need to add functionality to the Humble app. For example, updates should come with changelogs. Users should be able to post reviews of the apps. And of course, as Cris mentions above, devs should sign a deal stating the Humble versions of their games must be updated within 48 hours of Google Play.

All in all, this is an exciting platform if the Humble guys play their cards right.
